In short: we use your email only to tell you about our workshop and future courses, we keep your survey answers apart from your email, and we never sell or share your details.
Who we are
AI for Therapists is run by Alastair and Katharine. The business behind it is WhaleyBear Ltd, trading as AI for Therapists, and "we" in this notice means WhaleyBear Ltd. You can reach us at info@ai4therapists.co.uk.
WhaleyBear Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 16254997. Registered office: Document Studios, 30 Pennywell Rd, Bristol, BS5 0TH.
If you join the waiting list
We collect your email address, your name if you give it, where you found the sign-up (for example, a link in a newsletter), and whether you finished our survey, so we can honour the 10% discount.
We use these to email you about the AI for Therapists workshop and future courses. We do this because you said we could, by ticking the box. You can change your mind at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email, or by emailing us. Before we add you, we send one email asking you to confirm.
If you answer our survey
The survey doesn't ask for your name or email, and we keep your answers apart from the waiting list, so the two aren't linked. We use the answers only to plan this workshop and future courses. Please leave out anything that could identify a client.
Like most websites, our web host records technical details such as your IP address with each submission.
Who else handles your details
- Kit (kit.com), our email provider, stores the waiting list and sends our emails. Kit is based in the United States.
- Netlify, our web host, runs this website and stores survey answers. Netlify may process data outside the UK.
We never sell your details or share them with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Your email stays on our list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. We keep survey answers for up to 12 months to plan this and future courses, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Email info@ai4therapists.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
